Like a true match made in heaven BGC and ISLY continue to collaborate, and reach for the next level of creative life. Designer, Trend forecaster, Stylist, and all around hero of the Fashion World Carrie Morrissey came to BGC with the task of creating a Look Book and Video for her upcoming Spring line. After weeks of planning, and more hard work that you can shake a stick at it’s finally time to reveal the I Still Love You Spring 2011 Look Book!

Recently BGC visited with Philadelphia artist Tristin Lowe to check out his amazing sculpture “Mocha Dick“. Normally Mocha has on a finely detailed and hand crafted skin of cream colored felt, but BGC was lucky enough to catch Mocha in the buff (or rather the Inflatable armature that holds Mocha Dick’s 700 Pound felt skin in place.)

Ars Nova Workshop has once again teamed up with the Fleisher/Ollman Gallery to bring amazing music to Philadelphia. The U.S. debut of Norwegian/Japanese quintet Koboku Senju, meaning “selection of dead trees.” Band includes Tetuzi Akiyama (guitar), Toshimaru Nakamura (no-input mixing board), Martin Taxt (tuba), Eivind Lønning (trumpet), Espen Reinertsen (tenor saxophone + flute). Plus Philadelphia musican Eric Carbonara started the night with two solo selections.

This is the first finished video that we “Dave Harding, Pat Blake, and Ben Webb” as Brain Gravy Creative have collaborated and completed together. The original idea behind this started out much more elaborate and involving many more people than the final outcome included. As we juggled schedules and started closing in on a timeframe that we would like to have the project completed the focus became narrowed down to what you see here today. Since the arrival of Ben Webb to Philadelphia we have a new focus on creating our ideas into something hopefully interesting to watch and with new creative inspiration behind them.
